okie! i very long nvr blog liao. very busy, plus lazy too, yup! :P

i've been teaching tuition for 3 weeks liao. heh heh... easy job, gd money. primary school stuffs turn out to be okayy, muahaha! $$$$$$$ :P i even turned one devil student to an angel student. :):) wee~ u guys shld try it out, iznt tat bad u know? :)

den i've been in nus for quite some days. zzz... i'm the dance head for this year's freshmen orientation camp la..... soo had been spending alot of time there choreographing steps with ping n chua~! :) dancing to 'pokerface', 'hands up' by francisco and chilli cha-cha! :) great mix of hip-hop, couple dance n cha-cha. :) hope the freshies like it!

juz finished the trial camp 2 days ago. my god. me n chua is in the same OG. yes, imagine, 50% of the shouting will be from both of us ahahahhaa! xD butother OGLs oso damn ons! meeting up to buy OG identity n formulating cheers liao!! wuuts! :) GO TRITON!!!

eh, got other things la like random working at foto gallery, watching 'drag me to hell' (NOT NICE), car wash blah blah blah~~ gues the nxt post will be on the camp itself le! tata~! :)

well... juz finish converse performance and youthbox singing competition. wah, tired... ytd n today tgt is busy, tired, happy. :):)

busy

i woke up at 7plus am on saturday to rush down to TANGS at 9:30am frm woodlands for sound check. whoo having such freaking early checks when performance starts at 6:30pm. zzz... den check check check, 12pm done. went down to MS to collect MMO for 我不是你想像那么勇敢, my semi-final song choice for youthbox competition :) den rushed down to heeren at 4pm with cordelia alton blah blah. reach liao den sang as 3rd contestant. den chop chop rushed off to TANGS straight after singing. changed, sound check again, start. some errors here n there, but nvm, finished it without major mistakes. den rushed down to heeren again for results. FINALS! yay. tats busy for saturday. today is still, okie. :)

tired

seriously joining competition is quite tiring. performing oso add on to the tired-ness. zzz... must memorise lyrics, obtain MMO, practise, travel, waiting time. woah... lucky youthbox is only 2 weeks event, if not seriously, will die. hah! den the converse performance. must drum extra loud bcoz i'm situated in an enclosed transparent display room n e drum is miked out. so must play louder for the mike to respond to it. zzz... my leg hurts after the thing... slammed the bass drum pedal like nobody's business, hope can be heard. tired...

happy

yippie!!! youthbox ended le!! i nvr win any position la but i'm happy to even enter into the finals!!! yay!!! my 2nd competition other than singout (if dun count css). :) i'm happy with my performance i guess. n i'm happy i overcome the stage fright thingy. okie, at least i nvr show it out le. heh heh. gd gd. more exposure i would prefer :):) judges say try to use real voice to sing.. well... i'm happy with what i am, how i sing. it is me, szehou style. maybe some wun agree to how i sing, well, den sry la. i will try, but of coz, i would like to retain wad is unique to me (at least tats wad i think) hoho!! happy!! oh and oso, playing for converse event earned me one new pair of converse shoes n shirt!! yay!!! new shoe new shoe!!!!! *jumping around with joy* :):) sooooo happy! no need to fret about shoe liao, means save money!! :):) anyways, thx garvin n chua coming down to support. thx camellia for helping me with the videos. thx cordelia n leon for the encouragement. thx cord's mum!! hah!! driving us arnd n buying us food. seriously man. :) of coz others who gave me words of encouragement!! wee~!

well the following are uploaded videos of my performances in youthbox competition! :) the 1st vid is my semi-finals performance, 我不是你想像那么勇敢. yup yup!! :) 2nd n 3rd vid is the 2 songs from 2dae's competition. :) 2nd vid is 我要快乐 as they want us to choose a local song. this one is composed by a singaporean. well, ya. :) 3rd song is 可以不爱了 by 梁文音. yupp!!! oh yes. i started off audition with her 最幸福的事. den semis 我不是你想像那么勇敢. so i was thinking, i shall end it with yet another one of her song. i chose 可以不爱了. seriously, this is the hardest of all her songs tat i sang. the control, the lyrics, the feel. hah! well, i want people to hear her song, to know her. hah! tommy said i shldn't have chose this song. jia ling said its boring. judges think i sang it too, erm, monotone? i duno, juz, they dun feel any climax from this song. eh, :P aiya, sry la. yup. well, 梁文音 rocks! its okie i nvr win. i did all i can. like i said, i'm not tat scared on stage le, soo, i'm happy!! wohoho!!! well, heres the videos people!! the 3rd video i cnt upload got some problems. go facebook see okie? woohoo!!! enjoy, or, dun enjoy! hah!!

okie. from where i left off. i had a photoshoot session for sing out! :) its for the semi-finalists n committee. wahaha! i get to be in both xD well, juz the usual photoshoot. make-up again with hair-do. of course, the stylist tried her best, but end up failing yet again. hah! my hair is unstylable aha! many crappings here n there with random peeps :) post the photos when they are available! below are the 2 i have. hah! :):)

sunday i went for another singing competition :P organised by youthbox @ heeren. :) wahaha! easy job this one. agnes is the judge. eh, well, thru to semi-finals! yay! many many MS peeps went n got in too. cordelia got in for FOUR CATEGORIES!!!!! my goodness... she can only choose 2 out of the 4, now headache :x semis will be held at heeren again this saturday from 6pm i assume. yup! come down n see, even for fun. u can juz shop, n when u hear smth going on, can peep down from whichever floor u r at xD i will be at the centre stage (izit how we call it). when u look up from the stage, u get the feel alot of EYES ZOOMING DOWN. hah! support support!

oh ya, i will be performing on the same saturday oso. converse event at TANGS. drumming for some campus superstar peeps n jasmine from singapore idol. yup! we will be playing in an enclosed display room. i oso duno how is it like. full of questions. watever. come down if u can :) but it is sorta at 6:30pm. goodness, must ask the youthbox person. if can i will rush down after 7pm to sing at heeren. this is certainly a better catch as by juz performing, we get a free converse shirt, converse shoe, n vouchers i think. wee~! finally, NEW SHOE!!!!

last thing, i will again be performing at heeren at 30th may, for converse event again i think. juz pure voluntary singing. well, i wan to have more stage experience, free anyways, juz go lo. :) hah!

i watched star trek with the clique ytd. wooh! i'm not a fan of those space war blah blah thingy. but seriously, star trek is not bad. it nvr awed me, but it does keep me engaged thru out the show. :) not bad! waiting for harry potter, n of coz, mr leon's angel n demons. :)

celebrated yuqian bdae ytd at FOC meeting too. :) u better appreciate my card i made for u single-handed. RAWR!! :) die. i think i ate tooo much of his super chocolately cake, i having sore throat argh... anyhow, HAPPY 22nd BURSTDAY YUQIAN!!

voices had its election for the new main comm today!!! :) well, i reached at 9am coz i gotta check out the hostel room at 9am, soo, :P the proud 1st person to arrive. heh heh. anyways, we had our new comm! president is KEEONN potato. vice presidents are MARCUS cucumber and JOEL brinjal. publicity and marketing are JIMMY garlic and GABY tomato. music director, without a doubt, WEIQUAN pickles. treasurer is NARISA :) hope they will bring voices up to a greater lvl! :)

went for job interview 2dae with fiona n jasmine xD we went to cineleisure kbox to interview for full time server job :) coz shirley workin there, so somehow, went there too ohoho!! the interview is somehow short n casual, with some points he mentioned.

(1) i must cut my hair, to like can see my eyes, cnt touch ears, cnt touch collar. wth, jc life again??!! :(

(2) i must have some injection. walao... need money?

(3) pay is 1.1k, $500 base salary n $600 based on performance which means if i nvr late or make mistakes, $600 is guaranteed :) plus got tips too! well, shirley's tip for last month is $16. lolle.

(4) for msian, may need to check with HR department to confirm about the quota thingy, like every 3 singaporeans to 1 msian employment ratio.

(5) 6 days work week with an off on a weekday. shld be getting the 7pm to 3am timeslot. woah. die. lucky got transport. morning n afternoons are still free! lucky. i can still make it for FOC n rag trainings. well FOC take off lo, hopefully can. if not die. :(

(6) need to pay $45 bucks for uniform???? money again... walao... better be good...

tats all aha! aiya, hopefully i can get this job. i can continue on part time after sch reopens like wad shirley is doing! xD n afternoons i can still accept tuitions!! hah! no choice, money money money! :)

oh yea oh yea~ updatessssss!!! okie, i've some stuffs to blog about :):)

seafood clan outings

firstly, i met up with the seafood gangs, ohoho~ well, suppose to be a clique with like over 15 peeps, now left with a handful... zzz... suppose to meet cynthia edwin theo n alvin, end up only me theo n alvin can meet zzz...

anyways, we eat 1st. alvin wanted some japanese ramen shop, me n theo strongly against it; theo n me wanted subway, alvin strongly against it; i wanted foodcourt, those 2 strongly against it. wad the hell... end up queueing up for pizza hut's $7.90 set meal :) stupid alvin, he keep commenting tat its not worth it to eat baked rice at pizza hut. huh?! watever. eat finish, den we went to talk. alot alot. wah, i realised during my 1st 3 months in MI, i seriously did alot of stupid stuffs. everyday go town bcoz of the convenient straight bus available; spamming of neoprints like nobody's business (serious); skipping lessons in exchange for 'how many meh mehs jump over the wall' game sessions; many more which i totally forgotten. chatted happily till its late, n yup, went home. though only 3 of us, we enjoyed ourselves!!! yay!!

wah. its been 3 years since i know them. amazing. time flies. i oso duno how we are able to still be in contact with each other. thru kiara's baby xander perhaps :):) well. ya. kiara's baby xander is ONE YEARS OLD already!!!! and yup! 2dae is xander's birthday!!! wee~ soo we went to celebrate with them, in concurrent with kiara!!! celebrating her 1st ever mother's day!!! yay!!! :):)

as usual, i was late once again! :) well, i went back jb in the morning to deposit more stuffs at home. finaly, left those little little things to move back! YAY! okie. reached 1 hour late, eat eat eat, only cynthia theo n edwin went. WHERE ARE THE REST!!!! COME OUT FROM UR CAVES DEAR SEAFOODS!!! kana BBQ-ed ah? hah!! but ya, kiara is once again pregnant!!! 4 months liao -__- she's fast man. wow, meaning seafood will get tgt 2 times a year!!! 2 babys!!! wee~!! had many fun!! as usual, crappings. hah! catch up catch ups, n yup! another day spent :) photos @ cynthia's camera~

i'm always thinking, hah! izn't it cool if u have a baby at my age now. den like when u are 23, u r teaching ur child how to speak; when u are 26, u r being him to primary one; when u are 40, he is in university; when u r 50, u may even get ur 1st grandchild!! :):) i kinda like this thinking, but of coz, if u start at my age, money how? youth? studies? haizz... but, still, i think its cool! xD okie random wahaha...

sing out 09 quarter finals

wah~~~~~~ the day has come.... my day to sing at sing out. after like watching 4 sing outs, seeing people performing on stage, wondering how it feels, i felt it today. phew... reached MS at 4plus, hanging around stoning, feeling nervous. keep running for toilets n drinks. rawr! blah blah blah, the thing begins! one after another, they went to the stage, gave their all. me? getting all crazy in my little world, trying very hard to juz not to forget the lyrics, going thru them again, n again, without once i'm able to rmb everything. aiya, heck. i tried to talk to the rest of the contestants around, but, no use leh. zzz...

finally, as cecilia sang finish her last note, went up. surprisingly, i didn't feel as scared as i think i will. previously when i go on stage, even during rehearsals with voices people, i will be scared like hell n my legs with tremble SUPER OBVIOUSLY. but, it nvr happen for sing out! wee~ maybe i got other signs, but i'm glad my leg nvr tremble aha!

okie, music in! everything in my mind at tat point was, ahaha! the 1st line of the lyrics aha! den yup, sing sing sing. my 1st verse n 1st chorus was sang thru normally, n i didn't even try to me eye contact :P juz like wad xiong di said, i juz look down or at the mirror. aiya, dun blame me, reflex. AHAHA! after my 1st chorus, i looked up. WOAH!!! seriously. sooo many pairs of eyes looking at me. almost all the MS peeps was up listening to me. jasmine, yelun, shan, xieshun all came up. leon jeremy cordelia n others oso. den i turn to the contestant seats, all looked at me with stun face. woah! den i was like 'aiya, heck la, soo many people listening, i dun wan to make a fool out of myself'. so i went all out (well, to me its all out ON stage liao). wee~ finished the song without any major mistakes! especially the 1st line of the bridge, where i used my 'zhen yin' to hit the note. NVR 'po yin'! *touched* muahaha!!! yippie!! i'm sweating... hah! aiya, over le, relieved.

results!!! erm, okie, i got in. but seriously i'm shocked. coz there were better ones. well, since i got in le, shall not ask anymore. YAY! okie. end. hah! thx for encouragement everybody. :) happy! well, prepare for semis? aiya, i wun get in anyways. juz, have fun when it comes. till then, NO STRESS LO!!! wee~~ I GOT THRU SING OUT QUARTER FINALS!!!!!!!!!!! :):) *means i nvr spend that $18 registration fee for nth xD*

clique late night out

well, of coz, now its has been a standard programme for friday n saturdays nights to d2i dance studio n then cine for xin wang :) yay! i feel more comfortable each week with them wahahaha! nvr fail to laugh when its out with them. :) thx for accepting me into the clique! :) erm, ya. tats for friday n saturday nights :):):):)

thoughts

when one is met with a problem, try to solve it. when a problem arise, dun go emo over why has it happen, why is it me, unfair etc. dun go around blaming others, look at the problem at another point of view. if u have a problem, bottomline is that u will have to solve it. since u know this simple logic, juz try to retify the problem, or make the best out of the current situation, rather than keep probing about it, getting ur mood down bcoz of that one problem, n when it can affect ppl. seriously, in the future, u will know it is totally waste of time n energy. :):) wee~

nus openhouse

from wad i've left off, yup, i went for the NUS Openhouse for 2 days!!! i had ALOT of fun wee~ knew alot of peeps there, n of coz with JIMMY accompanying me, not bored at all! xD hmm, very long le, kinda forget. i rmb-ed i overnight with JIM in DE Club room yup yup! and... hmm... my job is the 'stand in front and offer goodie bags' de. i totally forgotten ad am i called. aiya, ambassador la hor? :) yup! its not bad an experience. got to meet ALOT of people, some juniors, some former classmates! hah! everybody is aiming for NUS!!! wee~

okie, basically the tour guides are the super slack job while us is the stand whole day smiling job. zzz... the tour guides freaking slack. they can simply play dai dee at their rest area while a handful of them go on their rounds. WALAO... but ya, my job is brainless la. juz wait for buses to come, hold out the goodie bag n smile. xD okie, i shld cut short, if not this post can go on n on n on. juz wana say one funny incident.

there was a DJ there, he was like responsible for playing songs n making announcements. soo i went over to request for the song umbrella coz 1stly, we are very sian, so need some high songs. 2ndly, in hope that the weather will be nice n we DUN need to use umbrellas to fetch passengers from the buses, coz we're suppose to hold the umbrella for the peeps while we get wet ourselves. i requested at 11am, he played it at 2plus. n BINGO! once the song start, it start to drizzle. n tat DJ announce tat it was from me. EVERYBODY START to KB to me HAH! okie, stop. :)

campus reunion concert

THE CAMPUS REUNION CONCERT WHICH IS LONG AWAITED!!! wee~ muahaha! okie, went there, saw the stage. wuuuu.... i got a white lil' drumset!!! but ya, i juz wana play my part, dun be noticed, n finish it. walao, everything went smoothly, the rehearsal, though some songs i go too fast n some too slow, overall is okie. interact with the superstars, which are quite frenly :) I FORGET TO BRING MY BLACK ATTIRE. sianz. end up with some black pull-over. zzz... nvm, i wanted to be hidden anyways. :)

skip the middle craps n stuff, concert BEGINSS!!! the superstars start to sing 1st, den after duno 20plus song, oh god, its finally the band!!! hmm... i quite scared, coz ya, alot of peeps, n this time its not like LUNAR, where it is dark n u dun see much audience, or i think i wun be seen. this time, i'm super obvious on stage, with the white drumset. sianzz, for alot of songs, i didn't quite perform up to standard, ESPECIALLY BU YAO LUAN SHUO!!! disaster man... i ended a 4/4 bar early, everybody stunned. i stun, amos stun, yiyuan n geraldine stun, ALL stun, except david. gd job la u, everybody silent he continue to play, den when he realised smth's wrong, he turn arnd to look at me with that shocked face lolle. aiya, BAD MEMORIES..... :( very sry to the band n singers. rawr!! hate it. nvm, i shall get better at it, i promise. :(

after the concert, snap snap snap, den crap around with the superstars. coz the shuttle bus uncle mistook the timing. he thought he was suppose to come at 11AM, when we are waiting at the hallway at 11PM. thx ah uncle. HAH!! everybody stoned, crapped, well, at least i've interact more :)

ended up at a restaurant at tiong bahru, where geng whye said tat its a sure-come place for all artists after their performances. o.O watever, but, it sure was nice, the food there, not as filling, but better than DAD's :P dad shld go there once, though i predict he will surely say he also know how to cook la, wad is lacking la. zzz...

finished the supper with guo hao n choon keat drunk LOLLE. guo hao still understandable, he finished one whole mug in one mouth, crazy, or was it 2? nvm, he was very high at the end, those kids... xP choon keat funnier, he juz drank like, half a cup? den KUKU~ he lost it. ahahaha! okie okie, cut short.

after tat the band n the back-up vocalists dun feel like going home lehs, so we tried to go timbre @ arthouse, TOOOO LATE, its closed. zzz... we end up roaming around clarke quay, settling for some drinking n HTHT session at the riverside :) we wanted to try out karaoke, but after joel's 'wonderful' recommendation from his 'source' about some thai pub, we dun even dare to try to go these kinda places le aha!! so yup, drink drink with chipss munching, we had some fun la~ :) wee~ okie, fullstop. smth like tat. aiya past liao, no need know so much oso :)

we earned $100 bucks plus $100 kbox vouchers though from the concert! wee~ smiling happily~ :):) *had some random kbox session with the band again some days ltr, yup, jiu shi zhe yang, utilising our vouchers~*

CAC+US @ RP

oh ya, shortly after the concert is CAC+US performance by all the sub-groups of NUS CAC! like ballroom dance (CHUAA!!!), guitar club, lindy hop, jazz, blah blah blah~ of coz voices is in it too, performing 3 songs we had for Emerge. eh, nth much to talk about, juz one day of sian-ing there, drum drum, finish pack go. but ya, heard voices performance really the lousiest tat night. die. aiya dun care so much 1st, anything let the new committee decide :) ALOT of SDE PEEPS came!!! yays!!! they bought flowers forrrr me~ blue rose :) hah! thx mr RAJ for shouting my name THAT loudly and CHUA's name lolle. :) and, wooh!! i finally saw CHUA danced, my goodness, 100% diff from her 'TAKEEEEE PHHHOOOOOTOOOOO!!!!' and 'AHA~ AHA~ AHA~' lol. she look beautiful tat night :) thx for those peeps who came :) yay! haa! take photos, n off i go with voices peeps.

we went to eat at some nearby coffeeshop, STEPH's DAD's TREAT!! :):):) yupp! went to gaby's hse with ming n eugene after tat! exclusive stayover aha!! seriously, gaby's hse is soooo nice to nua. i can simply nua there the whole day. we actually wanted to juz nua there, but end up ming got tuition...... -_- GABY CHAN!! WE MUST GO UR HSE AGAIN!!! ITS FREAKING HOLIDAYSSSSS!!!! :)

okies, i went to audit for a cafe at boon keng from leon's recommendation, some place where u can perform for the customers. eh, i not confident. my 2nd audit in my life. zzz... well, not too bad, but, till now they haven't gimme a reply. CHEAT MONEY... i shall not go fo such things anymore. grr.... their drinks are nice though.

MUSIC STORY

oh yes oh yes!!! *excited* i kinda, eh, know alot of new frens from MUSIC STORY (MS)!! a music sch tat hsinwen cordelia n leon attends. hah!! for some random reason i went there, den somehow, i got to know alot of peeps there!!! some of them r like, quite gd frens with me now!!! yay! i'm lurving it!!! xD but, hmm, duno leh, i like always go there but i'm not a student, feel bad sometimes.... luckily jasmine say i can help out in SINGOUT 09, a music competition held in MS :) at least i'm contributing abit, hope i wun like, be too, eh, duno. aiya, :) i'm glad somehow i got to know the peeps there!!! :) some of which are gd pals of mine now! leon, yelun, lucius, jialing etc? :P

i wun wana join MS ba coz no money... of coz if i have the money, i will join coz i got so many frens there :) i shall see how my financial situation goes :) but definitely, MS shall beone of the place i'm hanging out often now!!

random kbox outings

yay!! bcoz we got our kbox vouchers, hence me, leon, cordelia are like spamming it xD we are using it everywhere we go n with anyone we can go with aha! met up with leon one fine sunday to watch 'KNOWING', bcoz i'm super bored, den random-ness hit me, so i overnighted at his hse. woot! hah! nxt day jio-ed agnes n cordelia out for kbox! some small things happened, but ya, managed to sing la. wahaha! agnes is stunned, aiya, i shld get used to ppl getting stunned by my voice, zzz... tats one random outing.

the 2nd one is with MS peeps!!! oh, of coz, khim oso went. WAH. POWER. one word. very nice. someone plz sign her to cut an album. she shld be heard man. nvm, i believe she will make it big one day. still young ma. xD

oh i went to watch the CSS finals with MS peeps!! apparently, jiamin is from MS, soo leon got extra tickets as ben cnt make it :P soo i went!! wore leon's uniform muahaha!! my 2nd meeting with MS peeps. woah!! i'm like shy.... lucky the buying of subway somehow make me talk to jeremy n alton more wee~ :) found my onion buddy alton!!! woots!! he lurves onion too!! okie random.

reached the place. wah memories sia. last time when i was here, its for elaine :) memorable days~ queued, got seated, feast on the sandwiches, and here goes, the same thing started again!! somehow this year's superstar is much better than the 1st 2 seasons, i mean the system la, and all the thingy tat comes with it. LIVEBAND man. wooo~ the percussionist n pianist is sooooo nice! :) can i become like tat one day? at least i played for CSS concert before!! hah! CSS ReUnion. :P

LIANG WEN YIN!!! goodness, she sing live is niceeeeeee~ :) aiya, u guys plz, those who haven't heard her songs, GO DOWNLOAD. dun hesitate xD a pity jiamin did not win, but rest assured, she really did well with tat song with teresa. it was smoothing. their voices blended nicely tgt :) the little boy won yup. expected ai jia to win, but, aiya, the boy did really well, cnt deny, soo yup, hope he wun b'come like shawn's voice when he breaks voice. why not become like mine lol!!! okie paiseh. :) thx leon for jio-ing me out!!! :) had fun....

CHUA's 21st bdae

oh my god... its the lengendary yvonne chua's 21st bdae!!!! yippie! CHUA!! 21 years old liao!!! xD hope u had fun. aiya, u whole day walking around busy like siao, u juz go see ur nice nice book we make for u with ALL ur guests' messages inside la hor? hah!! :)

the SDE gang made her decorations n basically become her bdae bash helpers aha!!! food was nice, n there was a karaoke system there!!! my goodness!!! :) tiring it is, but, CHUA happy can le!!! :) we had loads of fun cutting cardboards, blowing balloons, taking photos of coz!!! :)

oh great, i was forced to sing at the party when EVERYBODY IS AROUND. walao. hah!! initially scared, den slowly, i started singing n singing lol. k fine, coz ppl are like clapping, awed, soo ya, i dun feel so down.. coz ya, i always worry that people dun accept my voice soo yups!! aiya, tooo much to say, photos can do the talking... xD

have been helping out in SINGOUT 09 for about 2 weeks le. 1st job is logistics. where i have to guard the doors hah! aiya i oso forget le. juz happy to be helping out!! at least i can do smth for MS? :) den the nxt time i think i was put on KJ liaoz. :) KJ is the one who plays the song, adjust volume, alters key, meddle with the mike, blah blah~ ALL THE CONTESTANT'S FATE LIES ON ME!!! lolle~ i'm loving this job!!! thx for the compliments last week!! i'm really happy, yup! :)

this saturday is my turn to be singing in the quarter finals... scared... (1) duno how ppl will react to my voices? (2) stage fright? (3) appearance? ARGH...... duno la duno la!!!! had family outing yesterday!!! daddy, yeye, chua, liping, valene and boon ping(?) went out tgt for a movie!! WOLVERINE~ actually, i'm not quite a fan of marvel comics, soo the movie is okie for me only. nth is comparable to 17 again recently. serious. that movie is, woah, one of the most worth it $7 i've paid for. seriously. u come out of the theatre, satisfied. :) but yea, bad day, no money day. bleah watever. eat some nice carrot cake at the hawker at harbourfront bus interchange. food there not bad, worth trying :) back to JB then...

oh ya, i will be moving back to msia from friday onward liao. my room mate is not staying anymore, i cannot leech his room le hah. guess i'm reverting back to my JC life. die. with such a lousy internet connection n no msia number (previous one expired), how to keep in contact with the peeps in singapore. okie little update, brief run thru. friday i had URA trip with the peeps, den i went NYP perc ensemble!!! very long nvr go, still as crappy as usual :) oh they doing more advanced rhythm n foot hand coordination exercises. shucks! must keep up! sight-reading weakened! campus reunion prac at night, crazy jamming, i went crazy, everybody went crazy. if u ever heard of 'lan hua cao' this old cina song, we changed it to rock. oh dear. watever.

saturday student ambassador training!! cool! out of 2000+ applicants, only 56 got chosen!! wah *grins* okie, briefing, tour guide 'audition' i would say? haha! i screw up, who cares! i dun wan be tour guide la~ :) quote from jennifer "i juz wana give balloons can?" ahhahaha!!! den rushed dwn with best fren to photoshoot with voices peeps. pose snap pose snap, went eat ltr, back to hall and stone.

OH GOODNESS~ yay!! EMERGE is successfully over!!! well, all the hard work paid off, and, eh, tired!!! but, somehow, happy, very happy :) okayy~ its a long long post with many photos, so, be prepared muahaha~ :):)

the night before Emerge, while peeps are sleeping early to have a great voice, poor little onion xiao di is staying up till 5am!! (okie, its right after i finish my previous post :P) i wrote notes for each and single one of the vocalists and instrumentalists :):):) hmm, bcoz i seriously no time leh, so its like crappy handwriting n fragmented messages, but hope u peeps like it coz its a token of my appreciation!! be it for voices, or for being my fren, hope it does brighten up ur day by abit, juz like the smiley i drew :):) coz i know people will cfm leave, its been like tat for every batch of voices peeps, n i foresee our batch will suffer the same fate given moe demanding work schedules and commitment. nevertheless, hope u guys will still come back time to time on friday nights to just sing along with us, chit chat, or participate in watever events voices have okie? remember, once a voices member, forever a voices member :):) Emerge is only a start of everything, while mini concert is a warm-up. plz do not have the idea that voices is a 1 year CCA, okie? more work to come peeps!! sad to see people go :( oh no, it is suppose to be a happy post! :P well, moving right along~

make-up session after tat wee~ stephanie seow WAN LI's fren marilyn came to help!! so i kana her. make up till everybody say i look like girl -_- went to the back where the professional make up ladies were and they worsen it with blusher n lip thingy >_<

everybody were making themselves look pretty n nice, visiting the make up areas at the backstage (steph and marilyn), toilets (hair-do area) n back walkway (the make up artistes), n sure enuf, everybody look cool!! the visual K peeps are cool too!! my goodness, victor with pure pink hair!! aha!! once in a lifetime experience man!! oh ya! i couldn' put on my cap eventually coz i had my hair done :(:(:( watever, RARR~!!! thx terry for buying us chicken rice~ oh, another sinful thing, i ate it with lotsa chilli juz before performance >_<

and finally after much anticipation~ EMERGE 2009 BEINGS!!! yay!! okie. overview, i screw up quite alot for my drumming : 'wu le bu zuo' n 'li kai di qiu biao mian' i missed one beat each xP, 3-7-21 my drumstick flew off, but i manage to get back in less den 1 phrase, but ended up playing with the butt-end x), had too many double bass parts in 'che' which is not necessary :P well, it is not that obvious la hor?? give chance la! hee! well at least one of jewel's fren like my style of drumming n wana join voices bcoz of me!! guess i'm not too bad la hor? haa! at least i played with alot of feelings, according to kee onn :P funny thing is we ended 3-7-21 much earlier than we r suppose to but we covered it up soo smoothly tat no one even notice it!! ahaha!! wad a song man!! i shall not say the reason x) BAND 1 ROX FOR IMPROPTU STUFFS!!! everybody did well! everything went on very smoothly though a few technical faults for the guitar, the rest was perfect :) oso, i nvr expected tat our games section managed to get the crowd to get high ahaha!! jimmy bestie!! u rock la!! ur improptu-ness, wah, i serious 'pei fu' u sia :):) glad everybody enjoyed the games :)

now for my item... gosh!! at first i feel okie la, den when i went to backstage with ming, she was trembling to the extent that she cnt even sms properly. my goodness, i started to feel something like tat too. argh. thoughts came. 'wad if people laugh when i start singing?' 'wad if i go off-pitch when i start like wad happened in rehearsal?'..... alot of 'wad ifs' surfaced. i dun wana disappoint my frens, voices peeps, audiences. i dun wana pull down ming ming. as siow yi finish her item, seeing ming going up, i'm really nervous. duno how to explain. okie, the time has come. i stepped onto the stage, delivering my 1st line. PHEW..... at least it is in tune. den, i heard people clapping, cheering. at that very moment, it seems to me that all those worries had vaporise. i'm glad they accepted my voice. tats the most impt thing for me. so, off we go, going on with the song. personally, i think it's really our best performance. apart from holding the mike too far away, everything went well. i'm proud of myself, of ming, i'm... :) hear thundering claps and cheers as we completed our item, n at that moment, i really satisfied. they like my performance :) got responses like people stunned, mistaken me as a girl, wanting my autograph (my goodness), judson loving it, marcus's music teacher blah blah... thx! :) hey!! dun forget not only me, ming also damn power okie? WE did a good job!!! yay!!!

thx to everybody who helped me making it a success. thanks to ming for singing the song with me though its last minute and sacrifising ur chance to take better song choices. thanks to programme cell for allowing me to sing this song. thanks to ying peng for ur vocal trainings (head voice :P). thanks to marcus for design our stage thingy, for helping me with my costumes, helping me with my hair. thanks to band 2 (especially hui jing for the fantastic piano) for playing it till soo nice. thanks weiquan n roger for putting up with my weird temper during band prac. thanks for everyone who encouraged me. thanks to everybody who like the song. well.... another shack day... my god... shopping is really tiring... SUPER!! but :) at least i bought a few stuffs which i like :) buy 4D liao buy 4D!!! ONION IS SHOPPING~ shocking. guilty. satisfied. drained.

okayy, went shopping with my veggies at BUGIS, the cheap budget but somehow got nice clothes place!!! :):) with the intention to spend, off to bugis early in the afternoon (actually late by 1.5 hours :P), eat alot of junk food (OTAH IS VERY NICE AT BUGIS STREET!!! PLZ TRY!!), and here goes my 1st SHOPPING experience in erm, i dun think i even had such an experience b4. well, tat explains my wardrobe, but anyway, it's kinda fun to buy watever u think it's nice, and lucky i got ming n marcus around, if not i could have spent like nobody's business~ coz everything seems like, SOOO NICE~!!! i went there like shop for leisure lidat, when i'm suppose to settle my Emerge costumes 1st haa! aiya, ppl too long nvr (or shld i say, NEVER) shop, sui bian la~~~ hee! shopping is fun!!! but TIRING........... girls are amazing, looking at how often they shop. guys~ buck up!! hah!!! opps! spent like $70++ when i really calculated, almost bang the wall. MY GOODNESS~~ guess i'm gonna live with bread n plain water for the week haa! SAVE MONEY!!! RARR~! (imagine converting wad i spent into RM, den u know y i going crazy~) okayy, move on to my rewards!! haa!

1ST ITEM: $15, quite a nice shirt, everybody give the same 'it's damn nice' look when i came outta the changing room, soo yupp, simple, "UNCLE I WANT THIS ONE M SIZE~~!!!!" :P it happens to be wad i will be wearing when i'm drumming~ cool? well, my 1st white tee, so, :) they said i looked like a brand new sze hou with white, guess my blackish wardrobe finally got a snow white to entertain them!! :)

2ND ITEM: $25, well, something i always wanted but duno which kind to buy or wad to go along with it. bought it anyways. marcus finally happy i gotten my vest :):):) i'm happy too! got some nice clothes to wear apart from sloppy-ness liao~ haa! ONION's GONNA MAKEOVER!!! (oh how i wish, imagine the amount of $$$ needed)

3RD ITEM: $15, thats wad i've been searching for, main thing i wana buy in bugis :P ever since roxanne lend me her cap on tech-run 1, seriously think i shld get a cap. well, k fine, i look good in cap? aiya, @#%#$%, watever. I LURVE IT! heh! i'm wearing tat when i'm drumming too!! wee~ cool cool cool? who cares? haa! i care!! lalala~~ HAPPY HAPPY!! this cap is colourful, the colour i want, not a crappy design, k, "XIAO JIE~ HOW MUCH?? I WANT IT~"

4TH ITEM: $18 (could have been $15), RARR!!! ANDREW!!! nvr buy one more!! 2 for $30!!! hah!! nvm, i like the shirt, really like it. so i buy. can? :P xiao yi said i look diff in this too! i like it too! PINK somemore, my FIRST PINK SHIRT~ actually this was the 1st item i saw, and the 1st item i wana buy, but coz no one buy with me, so i decided to go walk walk around, see whether got other better choices. well, of course dun have, arbo i buy? :P i really like it lar, nice rite nice rite nice rite?? :):):)

after all that shopping, grew lazy, slack somewhere, and off we go to ARAB STREET!!! went to a, eh, J-POP shop i think. sell those gothic, J-POP, rock, punk costumes de shop. renting costumes for the last song of the day~ yupp. they wana go those kinda, visual kei style, soo rented a couple of tops for the vocalists. my goodness~ it's a veli veli tiring day 2dae sia... have to wake up at 10.30am to get ready to meet the peeps living in NUS for a supposedly nice breakfast at Fong Seng, only to know tat tat neh neh terry n chencen overslept~ in the end, nvr eat :(:( anyhow, ate eventually, some pork chop rice. k.

TRAINING AT LUNAR~!! wee~ hmm... i shld say 2dae is the smoothest run i had with my drumset! (if we dun include 'che') :) i kinda enjoyed myself 2dae, though according to miss chilli ming i must feel more with the song n dun make funny faces :P wah~ its been like, 2 years since i've become a percussionist, and mere 6 months i really come into contact with playing liveband. quite, happy, hee! coz i always no confidence in myself when it comes to drumming. i will always tell myself i not experienced enuf, lack the skill blah blah~ but i guess, for now, it seems to be getting better :) proud of myself heh~ well done onion :) and because of this liveband drumming i actually got sptted by events managing director to play for the upcoming Campus ReUnion concert featuring campus superstars from the 1st 2 seasons!! my goodness~ excited!! well, for tat i shall leave to other time, just be prepared to BUY TICKETS FROM ME DURING MARCH!!! RARR!!! MUST BUY!!! xD

as for singing 2dae, erm.... hmm.... still my usual problem of pitching. i can't seem to hear myself man, either i too soft or music too loud... i will try my very best at the last rehearsal, hope the problem will be solved by the performance. i really wana have great result n response for my item man. bcoz of me ming only got, to be more precised, HALF A SONG to perform in this Emerge, when she is suppose to be those who can take solo herself n stun ppl :x yea ming, i cfm i wun pull u down yea? *nods* well at least a good thing is roger told me tat i actually sounded bright enuf, oh man!!! HEAD VOICE HEAD VOICE!!! heh heh~~ :) be prepared for my item u ppl. xD it's gonna be one of the best!! at least for me~ yuppz!

simply 'jellied' at the Kopitiam at Central after the rehearsal... with our Singapore Flyer Trip burst, well, i guess crapping is the nxt best alternative for us yo? LOL! random stuffs flew around from everybody's mouth~ victor was an ex-rapist, franco n penny 'ai mei', me n my lovely pimple (!), etc etc etc xD! time with the veggies n extras were never boring, bet we will be very sad to see many of our fellow mates leaving after this Emerge concert due to academic reasons. oh OMGWTFBBQ!! dun care about tat 1st :P let this concert be a success den we say! :) VOICES GO GO GO!!!

WEE~ i'm back back back into the blogging world muahaha~ a new blogspot, a new blogskin, whole new chapter!!! :) well, a lot of stuffs happened from the last time i blogged. got into NUS Real Estate course (one semester finish liao :P), knew many many frens, performed at many concerts :) ALOT ALOT of stuffs! guess it will be tooo troublesome to blog everything, so i shall start from now on. try to keep up n get familiarise with wad i blog ba? ohohoho!!! hope my style of blogging (which is macham i'm talking to u like tat) will still make u happy when u read my future posts!!!
